I was born in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the U.S. at just one year old, raised in the vibrant but complex streets of Washington Heights, NYC. I came of age in a world surrounded by teenage pregnancies, drug use, and stories of deferred dreams. From the outside, it didn’t look like much was possible. But even as a young girl, I imagined something more — a life rich with purpose, freedom, and power.
When my family returned to the Dominican Republic, I was just 17 — and made one of the boldest decisions of my life:
I stayed.
I emancipated myself, choosing to remain in the U.S. alone, determined to carve a different path. No backup plan. No safety net. Just me and my audacity.
But let’s be clear — the world didn’t make that path easy.
As an Afro-Latina woman, I was constantly met with expectations of who I should be, what I should settle for, and how far I shouldn’t go.
I was told to stay in my lane. To be grateful. To play small.
But the fear of regret became louder than the fear of failure.
That fire propelled me to rise through the corporate ranks, build a 20+ year career in media and marketing, break barriers, and eventually step into my true calling as an entrepreneur, speaker, and strategist.
why i do this work….
Over the years, I created The CEO Method™—a personal leadership framework that blends mindset elevation, identity work, and strategic presence.
I launched the Audacious As Fck Podcast*, spoke at iconic events like the She is Fierce! Summit and Telemundo’s Mujeres Imparables, and worked with bold, brilliant women who felt stuck, invisible, or uninspired by the outdated definition of leadership.
What I saw was a pattern:
So many high-achieving women had followed the rules, checked all the boxes…
And still felt unseen, unfulfilled, and uncertain about what was next.
That lit something inside me.
I’m not just here to motivate — I’m here to activate.
I began creating immersive workshops, courses, and experiences to help women redefine success, reclaim their voice, and reimagine leadership as something deeply personal, culturally rooted, and unapologetically bold.
